Admire the appeal of the old world in this cosy refurbished colonial house. The Lodge is a fantastic three-bedroom vacation unit that provides short term accommodation in the pristine area of Camps Bay, perfect for a troup of friends or family. The three-bedroom Lodge vacation home emanates feelings of days gone by with its colonial charm and exquisite vistas of the 12 Apostles mountain range and the sparkling Atlantic sea. Plate glass sash windows overlook the beautiful Bakoven Beach, a protected shelter for the sunbathers of Cape Town. The two luxury wing chairs and ottoman are the perfect spots in which to marvel at the emerald sea, and the big leather couch makes for an ideal place to snuggle up on whilst enjoying the satellite television or perhaps an enthralling book. Old-fashioned double doors lead onto a balcony with table and chairs that make for wonderful outdoor dining. A couple of steps away is a paved sun veranda with a big solar-heated swimming pool and barbeque. The six sun loungers are ideal for lounging on with a delicious sun downer whilst appreciating the beautiful sun that sets behind the Atlantic.

The three bedrooms of this self-catering home are all accessible from the living space, and boast wonderful vistas of the mountain and ocean, each with its own dedicated en-suite bathroom. Two rooms house queen sized beds, one being a twin that can be transformed into a king sized bed if requested. One of the bathrooms is equipped with a bath/shower, whilst the other two have separate showers. The kitchen is kitted out with everything needed for basic cooking.

***Please note that CBT Lodge has got an age restriction for children so please inquire. It is also not suitable for guests with walking problems as the apartment is accessed by stairs. The ‘Riviera of the South Africa’, Camps Bay is where the rich and famous strut their designer wear.

The Camps Bay strip is famous for its bars, restaurants and beautiful white sandy beach. A popular place for locals to sit back, relax and watch the sunset, while sipping a beautiful cocktail.

It is well known for multi million dollar apartments and villas.


More than enough restaurants can be found in Camps Bay, but to just name a few worth a visit we would recommend you to go to Blues the icon of the ultra-trendy Camps Bay,  Paranga Cape Town’s coolest culinary experience where you can eat delicious sushi, Pepper Club where you can enjoy the sea view while sipping on cocktails, or indulging in exceptional seafood lunches or sunset dinners and The Raj Restaurant offers all the splendour of traditional North Indian cuisine.

What to do

When you are in Camps Bay you should not forget to relax on the beautiful beach, maybe some surfing. You could also go for a hike on the Table Mountain and/or Lions Head.


When you are looking for a nice bar or a bite to eat, there are some places where you will find everything you need. You could visit Café Caprice: The trendy ‘be seen at bar’. Very popular on Sunday evenings but get there early!
