Gryphon House, located in the sublime area of Camps Bay, is simply extraordinary. It had been intricately decorated with elegance and class. This three bedroom villa is able to house any group, from disabled to young, old, fun or quiet folk, and is an entertainer’s paradise. The prominent African dacor adds a feeling of cosiness and fun to the spacious, free-flowing areas. When you reach the top of the stairs at the beautiful front entrance, you will be stunned by the magnificent vistas and contemporary flow of the house. There are two lounge spaces, one inside that boasts a large, gorgeous fireplace as well as large windows with an enormous, beautiful view. This lounge opens onto the balcony, which contains an outdoor lounge space for those balmy summer nights, as well as a dining space with stylish furniture. This area can be protected from the wind or sun glares by massive shutters which slide across the whole of the balcony. This balcony leads down into a lush, well-groomed garden that emits a lovely lavender scent and opens up to a massive pool area, fitted with comfortable sun loungers. This area is entirely exclusive to you during your stay here.

Camps Bay

Things to do - general

The ‘Riviera of the South Africa’, Camps Bay is where the rich and famous strut their designer wear.

The Camps Bay strip is famous for its bars, restaurants and beautiful white sandy beach. A popular place for locals to sit back, relax and watch the sunset, while sipping a beautiful cocktail.

It is well known for multi million dollar apartments and villas.

More than enough restaurants can be found in Camps Bay, but to just name a few worth a visit we would recommend you to go to Blues the icon of the ultra-trendy Camps Bay,  Paranga Cape Town’s coolest culinary experience where you can eat delicious sushi, Pepper Club where you can enjoy the sea view while sipping on cocktails, or indulging in exceptional seafood lunches or sunset dinners and The Raj Restaurant offers all the splendour of traditional North Indian cuisine.

What to do

When you are in Camps Bay you should not forget to relax on the beautiful beach, maybe some surfing. You could also go for a hike on the Table Mountain and/or Lions Head.

When you are looking for a nice bar or a bite to eat, there are some places where you will find everything you need. You could visit Café Caprice: The trendy ‘be seen at bar’. Very popular on Sunday evenings but get there early!
