Number of rooms

Classy and glamorous, La Plantacion is a two and a half bedroom apartment which, in spite of its luxurious dacor, maintains a calming vacation atmosphere. The spacious rooms, opening up into verandas, and the white American shutters all give the unit a “beach house” feel. However, this is no basic vacation house, and much care must be taken in order to make sure that a feeling of luxury is consistent throughout the property; from the marble finished bathrooms to luxurious beds and headboards, right through to the intricate details of the fully equipped kitchen. The breath-taking ocean vistas are usually the first of many wonderful characteristics of the unit to be noticed. All of the main living spaces share an exquisite view of the emerald Atlantic Ocean, and the roof deck boasts a 360 view that will astonish. Though this is an apartment, it is extremely private and you will barely remember that you even have neighbours. The apartment is constructed over three levels and is incredibly spacious.

The bottom floor houses an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining are with big glass sliding doors that lead out onto a veranda. There is a small bedroom connecting to this area, which is ideal for a single person or child. One level is above the bedroom area. Both bedrooms lead out onto a shared veranda. The master bedroom is en-suite with the second twin bedroom having a dedicated separate bathroom. Perhaps the best feature of this unit, though not as extravagantly furnished as the rest of the property, is the upper level deck. This is the ideal rejuvenation and entertainment space, with a connecting area for food preparation, including a fridge. It boasts spectacular vistas of the iconic Table Mountain, the magnificent Twelve Apostles mountain range and the emerald Atlantic sea. Spend your leisure time on the patio relaxing on the sun loungers or making use of the barbeque with your friends or family, enjoying scrumptious meals. This is what vacations are all about. The complex as a whole contains two swimming pools for the use of all guests.

Camps Bay

Things to do - general

The ‘Riviera of the South Africa’, Camps Bay is where the rich and famous strut their designer wear.

The Camps Bay strip is famous for its bars, restaurants and beautiful white sandy beach. A popular place for locals to sit back, relax and watch the sunset, while sipping a beautiful cocktail.

It is well known for multi million dollar apartments and villas.

More than enough restaurants can be found in Camps Bay, but to just name a few worth a visit we would recommend you to go to Blues the icon of the ultra-trendy Camps Bay,  Paranga Cape Town’s coolest culinary experience where you can eat delicious sushi, Pepper Club where you can enjoy the sea view while sipping on cocktails, or indulging in exceptional seafood lunches or sunset dinners and The Raj Restaurant offers all the splendour of traditional North Indian cuisine.

What to do

When you are in Camps Bay you should not forget to relax on the beautiful beach, maybe some surfing. You could also go for a hike on the Table Mountain and/or Lions Head.

When you are looking for a nice bar or a bite to eat, there are some places where you will find everything you need. You could visit Café Caprice: The trendy ‘be seen at bar’. Very popular on Sunday evenings but get there early!
