General

Neptune Isle is located just five kilometres outside of the city centre of Cape Town, but still feels quite a distance from the rest of the world. It is situated right on the beach, at the gateway to the West Coast Coastal route, which makes the area feel like more of a vacation town than a city suburb. Spend your days exploring the bustling city life and then heading back to your wonderful lodging to experience how Cape Town got the nickname “Slaapstad” (sleepy town). At night, let yourself be lulled to sleep to the gently sound of the sea lapping against the shores. Milnerton is lengthy expanse of white beach from where the most renowned photographs of the iconic Table Mountain are mostly taken from. This area is much less busy than the beaches of the Atlantic Seaboard, and guests can indulge in long strolls along the shores whilst admiring the gorgeous sunsets that light up the mountain across the bay.

Though peaceful, the area provides a wide array of entertainment: Lagoon Beach Hotel, situated right next to Neptune Isle boasts a wonderful cocktail bar on the beach, whilst Zorba’s (a Greek restaurant and bar) lies right across the road. For those interested, the Milnerton Golf Course is a mere five kilometres away, whilst shoppers can spend time exploring the Paddocks Shopping Centre. The unit lies basically on the boardwalk dunes, being a mere three minute stroll to the beach. It is spacious and breezy, furnished with style and boasts exquisite vistas. Unwind and relax in a comfy space that houses all modern necessities for entertainment at home, including a plasma screen satellite television with DSTV and DVD player. The open plan kitchen contains bar stools, while the dining room lies right in front of the glass windows that frame the picturesque view. This unit gives you immediate private beach access and is just a couple of minutes drive to the CBD, famous V and A Waterfront and Canal Walk.

Milnerton

Things to do - general

When you want to enjoy a real holiday feeling with a white sandy beach right in front of you, great view and lovely accommodations, but do not want that destination to be in some remote area, one of our accommodations in Milnerton might be exactly what you are looking for. The area is only a few km away from the city center of Cape Town, but back in Milnerton you can leave that all behind you and relax while enjoying your view and listening to the sounds of the ocean. Furthermore you have a small bay on the beach that is loved for water sports like swimming, surfing and wind-surfing, the other beaches are perfect for nice walks on the beach while enjoying the spectacular view of the Table Mountain.

What to do

When you are in Milnerton you should first of all visit the lovely beach, and maybe participate in some water sports as they are very popular there, or take long nice walks on the beach while looking over the Table Mountain. Also you could go Formula 1 racing at Killarney Race track, or learn how to sand board on the sand dunes of Atlantis.

Nightlife

When you are looking to go out to dinner or just to have a few drinks, you do not have to look far. One of the things you could do is to visit the McNamara’s Gastro Pub located at the Lagoon Beach Hotel which has an amazing view, or go to Greek restaurant and bar Zorba’s, or visit the very successful Alexia’s Restaurant located along Otto du Plessis Drive.
