Located in the private Fresnaye area, this gorgeous and spacious two storey villa houses between eight to ten people in four lovely en-suite bedrooms. The beautiful aroma of lavender greets you upon entering this villa that is designed specifically for privacy and revitalization. The living space spills out into the broad deck. Here, a heated salt water splash pool is available and is situated in the perfect spot from which to admire the glimmering Atlantic sea with a drink in hand. Sun loungers are placed around the pool, inviting you to bask in the sun’s warm rays. On one side of the sheltered deck is an outdoor couch and chairs, and on the other side lies an outdoor dining table and gas Weber barbeque. There is an abundance of space in which to unwind inside on the colder, winter nights. The sophisticated living room houses a big wood burning fireplace that provides a romantic ambiance. The eight-seater dining table, which can be transformed into a twelve-seater, is the ideal setting for culinary feasts. The mini Hi-Fi has a plug-in for iPods, and at the back of the living room is the contemporary kitchen and scullery. The fully kitted out kitchen boasts a gas stove, two electric ovens, a double fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, electric juicer and more. The separate scullery space houses a dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine, too. Just off the living room is a study equipped with two desks, a fax/copier and wireless internet for those who need to finish up some work or simply wish to surf the web. The study leads out onto a zen garden located in the centre of the villa, boasting a lovely water feature as well as a comfy built-in sofa, offering a peaceful space in which to meditate. Neighbouring the study is an exclusive cinema with an enormous satellite television, complete with an overhead projector and surround-sound system that allows you to enjoy your favourite movies in luxury. The cinema room can also be transformed into a fifth bedroom with a queen size bed available on request.

The four bedrooms all offer televisions, heaters/air-conditioners and en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom is extremely spacious and leads out onto a big veranda with a comfy sofa from which you can soak in the sun and marvel at the beautiful, vast ocean views. The king size bed is also extra length, for your comfort. The master en-suite bathroom provides you with panoramic vistas from the bath tub. The spacious shower with built-in seating doubles as a sauna. There is also a separate walk-in closet with an abundance of cupboard space, as well as an electronic safe to protect your extreme valuables. The second bedroom houses a queen size, extra length bed, whilst the third bedroom houses two single beds. Another king size bed can be found in the fourth bedroom. The en-suite bathrooms each have their own separate showers and bath tubs. The villa is well-positioned as Fresnaye is protected from the occasional hard winds of the Cape. It is a brief distance to the sun-kissed Clifton beaches and the seafront of Seapoint, where you can find a variety of trendy stores and restaurants. The villa is kitted out for exquisite self-catering, with crockery, cutlery, towels, beach towels and clean white percale linen available. There is also a full-time housekeeper who comes in every day from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Things to do - general

Fresnaye is one of Cape Town’s exclusive suburbs looking over the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The neighbourhood is located on the slopes of Lion’s Head, and well known for its beautiful view of both the ocean as well as of the mountains. Its location is ideal, it is close to the beach, the center of Cape Town is easily accessible, and also close to the popular beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, a popular destination for surfers and sun seekers.

What to do

Due to its location near Lion’s Head, it is a very popular activity to climb it at full moon and enjoy the 360 degree view of Cape Town and the Ocean, also climbing Table Mountain or going up by cable car is one of the must dos. Also a visit to Robben Island is something that should not be missed while staying in Cape Town, as well as visiting the beautiful beaches around and going to the famous V&A Waterfront.


Since Fresnaye is a suburb, and as in most suburbs there usually is not much nightlife going on. In case you would like to have a fun night out, you could visit the famous V&A waterfront, or go to the popular Long Street located in the city center of Cape Town, the place where you can find all kinds of bars and clubs.
