The tour is a two-day adventure. The historical journey starts on Fridays in Cape Town’s city centre with a walk through the Company’s Garden. After that you will go on a bus ride to Rawsonville for a cupcake and red wine from the Kirabo wine farm boutique. Next stop is the former centre of the British Empire taken by train. The locomotive travels to the station in Matjiesfontein, the town that seems to be frozen in its Victorian glory days. You will stay for the night at the historic Lord Milner Hotel. The night includes a traditional braai, starlit skies and a stargazing guide. In the morning, after a lovely breakfast, the journey will take you to a local family-owned farm. The beautiful town of Montagu is the last stop of the bus.
