Bantry Bay

Bantry Bay is an exclusive suburb of Cape Town, right between the vivid city life of Cape Town, and the luxurious world of Camps Bay. It is located at the beautiful beach of the Atlantic Ocean, and it is the ideal place where you can spend your holiday in rest and peace, away from the mass tourism, but you are still close to major tourist attractions for a nice day out.
Restaurants
When you are planning to go out for a nice meal, we recommend you visit Salt Restaurant & Bar or The Islands Restaurant at Protea Hotel President, both located in Bantry Bay. Other restaurants can be found in for example Camps Bay, or other neighbourhoods in Cape Town.
What to do
When you decide to come to Bantry Bay, there are a few things you should not miss out on. First of all you should visit the lovely beach, you could climb Lion’s Head at full moon and enjoy the 360 degree view of Cape Town and the ocean, go up Table Mountain either by cable car or climbing, or take a visit to the V&A waterfront. These are only a few of the many things you could do in the area of Bantry Bay, but these are certainly points you should not miss out on.
