Franki’s (Le Fableux Destin de Franki Paradis)
Franki Paradis was a sensual French cabaret back in the years. Nowadays there is a classy clothing shop named after him in Kalk Bay. Relive the twenties, fifties and sixties with Franki’s clothing.The vintage dresses that bring the best out of the female forms can be found here. Handbags, statement jackets and soft, lacy pre-owned dresses are ready to be bought by a vintage lover. Many items in the store come from London or Paris that are authentic European items. Although the owners Karen Meyer and Tricia Snowball also collect top-condition, pre-owned pieces from the public.

Second Time Around
Come see Second Time Around, this store is recently completely refurbished! The shop has been around since 1972, which makes the store itself kind of vintage. It is one of the oldest shops in Cape Town, and perhaps the most famous. The store offers a wide range of clothing swing dresses, coats, men’s suits, knapsacks, dramatic hats, retro jewellery, original leather boots and heels.

Rock, Paper, Scissors
The store has a small selection of handmade party dresses, other accessories and separate collectables. The owner Jodi Meiring restores old dresses himself with his stitch work. Rock, paper, scissors has a stock of ladies’ clothes inspired by the 50s by a local fashion brand Miss Happ. You can also find old-school children’s toys from the ’60s and ’70s at Rock, Paper and Scissors.
